Does the Ernie Ball VP JR work with the HD500 as the second expression pedal?

I was able to get it to work with my old Line 6 M13 I just had to plug it through the output of the JP JR (not the input). I tried searching this forum, but couldn't find an answer.  If it doesn't I may have to purchase a Mission Engineering pedal.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I'm using the NosePedal.com purple pedal with my HD500X. Depends on what you're doing with it whether this is useful for you (it's a knob you can control with your foot instead of your typical expression pedal). For my purposes its great because its small, and I only use it occasionally to change a parameter on a patch and leave it there.

Hi Jackjordan,

I've tried this morning to use my Ernie Ball Pedal as second expression pedal.

You have to use a stereo cable Y (1 stereo into pod exp 2 in + 2 mono into in & out ernie ball).

I have only one problem: the value goes to 100% at half stroke. Maybe a ohm problem? or the taper switch which provides the user two distinct volume swell rates? Today I have no time, tomorrow I'll see..
