jb12string
I purchased the HD-500X and a Mission EP1-L6 about a month ago. So far, I like everything except the way the volume pedal function works when assigned to the Mission, the taper is a little, well, off. It seems like the volume increases very fast when coming from heel down and it doesn't change much when you get close to toe down. I talked to mission about it, they confimed that putting a resistor on the cable will change the taper and make it work better, but it was more of a hack than a fix and that it only seems to be an issue with the pedal when used as a volume control. They hinted that it seems to be more of a firmware issue. Is there any likelyhood of a firmware update that will fix this anytime soon?

TheRealZap
you might want to ask support: http://line6.com/company/contact/ (open a ticket) have you tried other "tricks" to see if you get better results? such as assigning the pedal to control the channel volume of the amp rather than assigning it as a volume pedal? (this saves you an FX slot as well)
bvaladez74
Its not a line 6 support issue. That particular mission pedal isn't 100% accurate. Mission support will stutter when you ask them about it...but bottom line...I returned mine. Wasn't worth the headache.
