Pod Hd Pro X -> Focusrite Saffire -> Logic S/pdif Clicks

Hi!

I want to use Pod Hd Pro to record my guitars through s/pdif.

So, i connected the out from the Pod to the in of my Saffire Pro 14, then set the clock sync to SPDIF. If I don't do this, I have clicks every second.

If I select SPDIF clock, the pod runs more stable, BUT when recording to logic some clicks appear.

IS THIS FIXABLE? I mean, how can I set the clock master to the SDIF of Focusrite on Logic, instead of the Internal clock?

Thanks!

go into the pod menus and change the sample rate on the spdif.

most likely one of those settings will clear up the issue.

Okay, i've tried sample rate to 44k on Saffire driver, pod spdif out and logic. Clicks.

Tried to change everything to 48k. Clicks.

Tried to put the clock on Spdif/Internal on both sample rates. Clicks.

But, what is really strange, is that the clicks only appear when monitoring or recording to any DAW. When streaming spdif through my saffire directly it just works.

Help :(

If you're connecting it to a mac, make sure to toggle the settings on the mac as well... from 44.1 to 48, or vice versus....

this has cleared quite a few issues...somehow toggling that resets some internal configs...

can't guarantee it will fix... but its worth trying (assuming you are using a mac)
