Hd Edit Freezing

Hi everyone,
When using hd edit, sometimes when moving a knob within hd edit the program freezes.
If I then turn a knob on the pod the program unfreezes until I move a knob on the program, then it freezes again.
I have reinstalled the drivers and program and changed usb slot.
I've launched a support ticket but wondered if anyone here has had the same thing happen?
Specs below,
Thanks for any help, Mike

Pod HD desktop (bean)

i7 3.3ghz, 8mb DDR3, Emu 0404, Win 7 x 64

I suspect this is a problem with your computer environment rather than a problem with the HD Edit program or the Line 6 drivers. I expect there may be a conflict with another usb device, perhaps your Emu404. I would suggest temporarily removing/disconnecting all other usb devices (except mouse/keyboard) for a test period. Use only the HD Edit program (not your Emu/DAW) for the test.

Also, if you're using a USB hub, bypass it and plug directly into a USB port on your computer.

I've seen some computers where the USB ports on the front were not reliable. If you're not using a hub, try using one of the ports on the back of the computer as opposed to the convenience ports on the front.

I also agree with the suggestion to temporarily remove the Cubase dongle and card reader and see if the problem goes away.

I think you're dealing with a port conflict.

OK. found the reason,

I'm using an older FBVExpress to change patches which it does fine but when connected via the rj45 cable to the pod HD Edit freezes if you alter any amp settings.
(other settings are fine) Pull the cable out and it un-freezes...
I'll try a different cable tomorrow just in case.
Anybody come across this situation before?

Ta

Mike
