Anyone else having issues with the dual amp not working?  Amp A hard left works, but amp b hard right =nothing.  Thought it was a glitch in a preset I built, but just tried building a brand new preset and it isn't working either.

Copy that Silverhead!  Appears the culprit was the "input 2 source".  I had seen on here before that changing the input 2 would help out with patches having more distortion than what was actually in the patch.  I had changed it to AUX, but that was on a single amp patch.  It seems to be okay now.  Am wondering now what that whole idea was that I read about before was.

Well that is an issue.  On single amp patches when you change the input 2 source to anything other than AUX there is alot more distortion being added.  When its set to AUX the distortion is less and it sounds more natural like coming just from the amp.  Otherwise it sounds like there is artificial distortion being added in.  However on dual amp mode it doesn't seem to change the sound when choosing a different input.

Read this thread for a full description of routing in HD500: http://line6.com/support/topic/2033-pod-hd-500-500x-new-routing-schematics/

There are other threads that discuss the input 1 and input 2 options and uses and end results depending on how patch set up.
