Hi Guys,

I am a very proud new owner of the pod hd500x, i think it is an amazing unit in the 5 hours i have had it!!

I need help with sending/receiving presets from the 'Edit' program. I have uploaded patches from my mac to the software, and that part is al good, i can send them to my pod hd500x no problems, but the sound is completely different from the settings on the software (mac) than they are on the unit. The amp settings are positioned differently (bass, mid treble ect...) in the software than on my unit but i thought it should sync up unless you change them? or do i have to set the same controls on the unit to the same as the one on the software? if i have to do that then what if i change amps with different tonal settings?

I understand i am missing something big, and i will admit i only skimmed through the Manuel, but reading it now i cant find anything new to help this problem... if it is one.

anyway, any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks allot guys!

"but the sound is completely different from the settings on the software (mac) than they are on the unit."  ???

The physical knobs on the POD do not move when adjustments are made on the POD EDIT software.

Looking at the display screen on your POD, navigate your cursor over the amp model in your patch and double-click ENTER.  The AMP: EDIT screen shows the knobs and their actual positions regardless of the postion of the physical knob on the front of your POD.
