theeabomination
I have a reverb setting with a very long decay. I switch it on, play a chord, reverb does it's thing, then I switch it off and reverb is silent. That's all fine, but then minutes later if switch it on again, the reverb seems to take up right where it left off when I switched it off, the chord is still ringing but I haven't played a thing. I have the unit set to True Bypass. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
bgmww
in True Bypass mode, Delay and Reverb trails are cut if you switch off the effect. To avoid this set it up in DSP Bypass. Don't worry, you won't lose any tone. It's absolutely transparent.
theeabomination
I want them cut off. And they do the first time I turn the effect off. Here's kind of the sequence: 1. turn on effect 2. hit chord, reverb sounds fine 3. Turn effect off-I get silence, which is what I want 4. Turn effect back on a few minutes later, the chord I played minutes ago suddenly appears reverbing all over the place. It's as if the unit , when I turn it off, saves what was left of the reverb decay and then plays that when i switch the effect back on.
