WaubinHood
Greetings my fellow gearheads.. If there is something i have completely missed while tampering years and years with music equipment, that would be MIDI. So here's a question propably dumb enough to bend the universe: I happen to have M-audio 1010LT PCI sound card in my puter. That piece of gizmo has MIDI connections in it. But Line6 guide for update tells me i need usb-to-MIDI device. Is there some special reason for that? Will the world end if i try to update DT via that card? Mr_Arkadin
No you're fine. The reason it says that is most guitarists don't seem to have MIDI ports but do have a USB port.
WaubinHood
...aaaand like mr Arkadin said, the whole thing was done in about 10 minutes without problems. At least no problems with gear... Small addeneum suggestion for updating guide, if i may. Add sentence "Do no - and we really mean DO NOT - leave your amp's volume on rehearsal volume level. Few pops you hear during instalation WILL make you ruin your perfectly clean underwear". Ty for fast and accurate help :) Now? To the laundry cave! innovine
i HATE those bloody pops!!! And the worst is that I don't think it matters what volume you have it at. I had my Master turned all the way down. I updated the firmware in the middle of the night in total silence, and then in the middle of the process the amp just goes BANG! Bloody hell, line6, you don't get any customer-friendly points for that one.
