mikePhdOD81 Posted February 11, 2014 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Hi, wondering if anyone has experienced something like this. I've got my hd500 set up in combo power amp mode. Cable setup is Guitar -> hd guitar in hd 1/4" out -> amp fx return I power up the hd and the amp and occasionally it will have very low output and sound very muddy (relative to when I first set up the patch). I switch over to the hd built in tuner and that sounds fine. I can switch over to other patches, amp models, replug things, etc but it doesn't change the overall output and sound. If I'm lucky, the next time I switch everything back on (without touching any other controls) it will sound normal again. Basically seems to happen randomly between sounding normal and not. Possibly an issue with the hd500 itself? I've never had this happen when using studio/direct into powered speakers. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
