dumbythewise
Do you mean to tell me the AMPLIFi Remote application will never be compatible with Android devices? The claims I have seen everywhere have been misleading. They just say "compatible with Android, iPod, iPhone" etc..Nowhere did I see BLUETOOTH streaming capability ONLY is compatible with the amp, but not the actual Remote app. My question is: will there eventually be the remote app available for Android phones? I feel like I've been swindled, I'm not gonna go buy a new iPod just to use this!
charlyg
It really wasn't developed for anything but iOS devices IMHO. The streaming music thing is it's boom box feature. It also has tone matching, but not in the sense a lot think of. It is tone matching in the sense of,"this is what someone else thought sounded close". After a year, we might be where they are actually close, and not matched to Southern Fried Rock...........

You asked three questions. 1) who told you the remote app would NEVER be compatible with Android? 2) where did you see/read that Bluetooth IS compatible with the remote app? 3) nobody knows for sure. Line 6 will tell us if/when it is.
dumbythewise
The NAMM highlights told me it was compatible. They did not specifically say "only apple devices will be able to use the app."I realize an android app probably will come out eventually, all I'm saying is they intentionally left out some vital information.
