Matyrker
As it say. I want to record with my POD HD Pro Direct out but I keep getting extra buzz. It says in the manual that if you are going out from 'balanced out' then have the switch to "lift" to eliminate any buzz. I have been switching it back and forth and have noticed no difference. I was going to record dry guitars but there is no way to reamp it with the hd pro afterwards (as far as I know.) Anyways, I must be doing something wrong. Anyone that could help would be much appreciated! M
malnack
So you're taking the XLR out into an audio interface? When you say buzz, is it constant like a ground loop issue or is it occasional? I'm sure someone here will be able to help.
silverhead
Please describe your setup. Are you using the Pod HD as the audio interface via USB, or are you connecting its analog outputs to a different audio interface? What recording program are you using? Matyrker
It is a constant buzz. I was running XLR out of the balanced. I just tried running a 1/4" through the unbalanced out and it sounds better but there is still a slight buzz and it dumbs down my tone somehow. I am really at a loss here. Setup: POD HD Pro>Saffire 6>Mac Pro>Logic.
Charlie_Watt
If you are using the XLR out for recording, I would not plug in the USB cable.

Matyrker
Maybe a different interface? Can't see why that would make a difference?
