Hello,

I read that you can change the speed of a backing track with the app, but can you also change the key? (bring the audio up and down 1,2,3 half steps) like you can do with the line 6 looper pedal?

Thanks

Luis

Hi Luis,

The amplifi remote app can drop to half speed, but there are no other speeds or pitch changes currently available.  Please log into ideascale to submit this request, as I have heard this on a few store visits as well.  http://line6.ideascale.com/

I use a package called Transcribe on my PC to do this and it works great!  You can shift the pitch of a song or the tempo or both.  It also has a spectrum analyzer that tells you what notes are being played.

Audacity will also change pitch.  I use that one all the time.

Amazing Slow Downer from www.ronimusic.com is another great one. Full of features and works great. I've been using it for years to learn stuff.
