Captain_Dog
Yesterday i sold some old music stuff and bought the following to complete my Rehearsal, Live and Recording Rig. I bought also a Taylor 310 Acoustic Dread but she is on the mail.

I know i could buy a Kemper or an AXE but i have other needs also like the Acoustic guitar and i think that this Rig covers my most needs sound and tone wise. And its quite versatile also.

So the Chain Goes like this…

Gibson Les Paul Traditional --> MXR Custom badass OD --> MXR Custom Badass 78 Distortion --> MXR Super Badass Distortion --> In front of POD HD500X and then the MXR 10 band EQ --> ZOOM MS-70CDR into POD HD500X FX Loop.

One thing i would like to mention is that if you use POD HD500X wit the MXR 10 band EQ you can do miracles with the sound. Even using the stock cabs.

NExt thing i will buy is the AMPLIFIRE as it will have Extrnal IR capability and may use it with the POD HD

So here are some pics.
talwilkins
So, how is the POD reacting to the distortion pedals in front of it? No clipping? What amp models do you use?
Captain_Dog
I mainly use the JTM 45 and the Plexi. Sometimes the Blackface for cleans and the hiwatt. The Jtm 45 and plexi reacts very good. I like my external pedals more of the internal.
talwilkins
Interesting. I'm thinking of getting me a Lex Bos Superdrive pedal. They are totally amazing!
