Editing In Hd Edit - Going Back To Original Patch

I've tried searching for this answer here with no result.

As the title suggests, once I edit a patch in HD Edit and want to go back to the original patch how is this done easily?

Is there an 'Esc' type button/function that can go back in one hit?

I've tried hitting the pedal on the board (as you would without HD Edit) but the asterisk is still there.  I've even tried closing down HD Edit and it's still there.

the asterisk just means something has changed...

best to ignore for the most part... its just a reminder to save it if you like it...

of course doing so eliminated the way back...

Thanks, I had a feeling it was like that but I saw an asterisk on my POD so wasn't sure what was going on.

Ah, cheers, it just seemed odd that it was there even after I closed it down.

Another work around would be to "Save As" any patch you would like to refer back to or back up from via the software editor on your computer. This way your presets will always be backed up in another location, plus you can refer to different modifications of a preset.

I have all the factory patches on my hard drive, I eliminated all the doubles for a start, some are even there three times but I notice some have slight variations.
