gennation
I want to plug my POD 2.0 device into the L/R line inputs of the UX1 and hear it/record it on my computer through USB directly in my recording software. It seems the only way I can get sound from it is with the POD Farm software running. Isn't there a way to use it without POD Farm? I thought this was just a USB audio interface. Please confirm so I don't waste anymore time on it, thank you.
Triryche
There is no optimal way while using the ASIO driver.. The UX becomes your sound card. You might be able to select a different driver in your DAW and turn on monitoring, but you will likely hear too much latency. Or just plug headphones into your POD 2.0 Edited March 24, 2014 by Triryche (strike out)
TheRealZap
you should be able to do what you want, really... the toneports and pod studios work just fine without pod farm. just make sure that you select the right input in the track on your DAW, and that your speakers are plugged into the toneport. Triryche
Zap, the DAW will capture, but the inputs are not routed to the analog outs or headphones without PF open.
TheRealZap
if it's properly setup as your system soundcard it will. done it many times. Zap, the DAW will capture, but the inputs are not routed to the analog outs or headphones without PF open.
Triryche
As Zap says, if it is set up correctly it will work. I had to go into the Windows mixer under recording devices and select listen to this device. But on my system the latency is too much for me.
