so here is a shot of my rig setup at home.  JTV69 into POD HD500 into DT25HD via L6 link feeding my own 2X12 cab and also into a Crate 50W VFX5112 12" combo via 4CM method without using the POD FX loop.  Also have the Rocktron Velocity 300 with a pair of old Peaveys for a SS rig.

Absolutely love this setup and both the Crate and the DT sound amazing...  Need a better SS combo for a pick-up-and-go rig...

As it sits right now. There is a 2x12 cab and a 2x12 combo that need to get added somewhere in the picture. The Fender and Marshall head are both for sale.. As is the Mesa 4x12.. I have a Fender Mustang V V2 head on its way in a few weeks. There is a matching second Behringer keyboard amp that has to get put into the rig, as well.. And some more pedals that aren't pictured.

Actually, I run it through a pair of Behringer B212D Active cabs. They're on the opposite wall, lol. I run the vamp through the Behringer keyboard amps, though.

I am still assembling the pedalboard side of the rig, don't have any good photos of it all together - except for, I just picked up a used Tarcase for the HD500; it's sweet, really well made. The HD500 slots in nicely into the spot that it's sitting in; still need to sort how to attach the expression pedal, or if it just compresses with the lid on.

Still figuring out where / how to fit various pedals onto the Pedaltrain board. I did get the Voodoo Lab power supply mounted up underneath it; that's a sweet design feature. Will likely run the power strip for the HD500 and the DT25 from the power out that comes off the back of the Voodo Lab.

Got a sweet deal on an M13 pedalboard; bought it last night from a guy I found on Craigslist. Came with an expression pedal, the pedalboard case, and a G50 wireless unit! Loving that thing, I might end up switching up to running that instead of the VDI - though I am still working on the "dual" input / dual amp model idea, so we'll see. The wireless is killer though, wasn't looking for that, but for the price it was a steal, and it all came as a bundle.

The pedalboard it's mounted on is pretty heavy duty, I may downsize it at some point; maybe put my analog pedals on this thing, and move the M13 to my Pedaltrain board (if it fits!)

Anyway, I stayed up way too late last night jamming and messing around with layering the M13 effects into the HD500 effects loop. Sounds fan-friggin'-tastic! The "on deck" function of the M13 is amazing, you have a huge number of pedals that can be toggled on off individually, or as preset scenes, way cool. It sounds really nice in the FX loop too, set the HD500 fx loop switch to "stomp" and not "line", seemed to sound correct that way.

I gotta reduce the floor space of all this stuff though, it's getting ridiculous! I need a cool trippy carpet to set up on stages ;)

Anyway, here's some pics from last night - will probably take a pass at reconfiguring the layout after work tonight. I didn't try to work the Keeley pedals in yet, will try that tonight, see how it works out. Guessing the analog pedals are going to add some unwanted noise and possible ground loop issues; not sure. The M13 and HD500 run totally silent together rigged together like that, the M13 in the effects loop of the HD500.

Was thinking I would run the wireless out to the analog pedals, and use the second out (tuner out) from the wireless transmitter to feed the tracking portion of the noise gate (it wants a direct feed from the guitar to determine actual note decay, even though the noise gate portion of the circuit is intended to be near the end of the signal chain, but before the delays and reverbs).

Nice! Yeah, he's one of a kind. My wife's sister rescued him from New Lenox, IL, and ended up with us. Super friendly, he likes to climb on me. He was on high alert last night; check out the tail motion!

Dude! Those celtic wall hangings are sweet. The purple and green are a pretty wild combination, digging it. Do you have a camera up feeding into that monitor / tv? You gotta do some cool YouTube "check this out" gear vids.

The photo processing looks really cool; is that Photoshop? Gives everything a sweet polaroid look! Fuzzy edges, warm and friendly.

Just thought I'd throw out a question....

Anyone going to Sweetwater Gear Fest next week?  A buddy and I are hitting Mitch Gallagher's Thursday workshop about guitar tone.

Happy Thursday for me!!! My Keeley pedal just arrived, I didn't even realize they had shipped it. Ordered this little bad boy on April 22nd; was one of their new custom shop pedals, so it took a while. "Neutrino"; it's an envelope filter. Add that to the list of gear to mess with tonight!

I actually like the Hd500 / M13 envelope fx, they are decent; but their is something to be said for that sweet, dripping wet, all-analog sound like the Mutron - but in a modern, classy true-bypass design.

:)
