silverhead
You can't record the incoming backing tracks/song unless you connect them to the Pod's processing inputs. The Pod only sends its own sounds to your computer for recording. It does not send its incoming usb stream nor the input from its cd/mp3 player. BillBee
You might be able to run a 'Y' cable from the XT's headphone jack (1 male, 2 female). Use one for the headphones the other for running a line in to your sound card. You will have to figure out the level volumes on your DAW. You could probably just solder the cables together yourself to save a few $. -B
Triryche
How are you playing the song? PC? MP3 player, I-Pod? A typical work flow is to import your song into your DAW. Then play along with it while you record. This also give you more control when mixing.

Triryche
SO what source id the sound on you computer? If it is from your music library just import it into your DAW onto its own stereo track.
