criminalpan
Am I able to use a cable splitter to run left and right outputs from my pod hd desktop into one channel of my tascam us-1800?
Charlie_Watt
If you use one cable you get mono anyway. Use one of the 1/4 inch outputs and you get both left and right combined.
TheRealZap
you'll need to use 2 channels, in from the us1800, but you can select them as a single stereo channel in your DAW/ what i do (i have the same interface) is go in with the SPDIF, which i've set to dry in the setup menu, and also go into the rear 11/12 or 13/14 inputs on the us1800 you can of course just go with a single SPDIF cable wet and be done with it..... this is just so that i can record both wet and dry... you may not have the desire, just gives me options post recording... besides re-performing. criminalpan
Sow SPDIF on the pod to Digital in on the tascam would suffice ?
TheRealZap
Yeah, works great... just go through the SPDIF menu in the pod and set your sample rate or accept the defaults.... should work either way.
