I was noticing that when connected to the iPad and controlling the setup that I don't see the spectrum analyzer on the EQ screen like I do at the same time it is on the M20D... Is this normal?

I use the EnGenius EUB9801, is it the same if you use the airport express router?

It's a limitation imposed using wi-fi. There's just too much data needed to be sent that it can't happen in near real time. Same wi-fi limitation prevents streaming audio back to the iPad so that you could hear it out the headphone jack.
