I've saved recordings to the SD card and transferred them onto my desktop.  However I cannot figure out how to play them on my computer to play in iTunes or load them on to youtube.  I want to be able to play them other than on my amp.

I read the spider jam advanced guide and I didn't see anything that would help.

Please advise.

These should be WAV file format. What you need is a utility that converts WAV into MP3. Do a google search for WAV to MP3 or whatever you need.

They are not in WAV format. Is there a way to have them save as WAV? They are always .JAM files and do not play on the computer. Why are they JAM files? The above does not help.

You shouldn't need a converter. I'm pretty sure you can save your recording as a WAV file while the card is in the Spider Jam then you can import it into your DAW. After you record something or load a recording currently on the SD Card press the save button and then scroll down to look at your options, you should see something that says "Save recording as a wav file".

I mostly play at home  and am always having fun learning how to play guitar so when I post a reply to try and help give ideas you know where I'm coming from. Rock-On!! Oh, and if I don't respond promptly I'm probably playing guitar or my computer locked up from multitasking 'cause I'm using Gear Box, HD500 Edit, Audacity and tab filled browsers all at the same time, Hahahaaaa. Surprisingly enough my 'puter handles the load more times than not. Lastly I'm not a salesman, I'm not trying to sell anyone anything here. "Riffcasts Riffworld" "RiffRumble Entry" "Shifftie" "M.O.S.U.A Two" "Bass Catszz" "Blasted Runtime Error I" "Match 30" "The Playlist"

OK i saw how to save it as a WAV file... however I get "Error writing to card"... meanwhile there is no issue saving it as a JAM file.  There is plenty of space on the card.  Still can't solve the issue
