silverhead
You've made yourself very clear; your English is better than you think! It depends on your amp. You need to find out what MIDI commands your amp will respond to for changing channels, and then add this command to your HD500x preset using the MIDI Assign page in HD500x Edit (or directly on the HD500x device). Then when you select the preset this command will be sent from the HD500x MIDI Out port. Connect the MIDI Out port either directly to your amp's MIDI In port, or your AMT FS2 MIDI In port (in which case you need to connect your AMT FS2 MIDI Out/Through port to your amp). jeffosaure
Thx Uber Guru My connecting is ok and i can change my channels amp with my footswicht controler But I can't programming my POD HD500X When I hold the MOVE button on my POD I can assign: 1: channel 1 2: message : prog change 3: PROG # : 001 on every FS The message is ok between POD and my footswith controller But when I back to my preset (after saved) nothing happen when I switch on every PatchesI think I do not know how to program the POD HD500X
silverhead
The procedure for using the HD500x device as a general MIDI controller is described in the HD500x Advanced Guide in Appendix B, in the subsection titled "Using POD HD500 as a MIDI Controller Device". You could also try using HD500x Edit. I think the procedure is more clear using the editor.
jeffosaure
I ever do that but it doesn't work
jackstrat357
I'm having the same issue. The manual says pedals FS5-FS8 will only transmit if the POD is set to "Pedal Board" Mode. If this was the case then using a "Preset" to trigger a midi message for amp switching won't work. And this is exactly what I want to do too. And have been unable to. Also the EDIT software doesn't save the midi settings when I change them and save the patch. I have to use the interface on the pedal to successfully change and store midi settings If there IS a way to send a midi message on the transition to a Patch, when in Patch Mode, please let me know. I'm sending from an POD HD500X to a Voodoo Labs Controller-Switcher, THX
