P_Wood
Hey everyone, I bought a Pod hd 500x from the US, hence the accompanying power supply cable was designed for the lower voltage power points of the US. Can I simply use an adaptor and plug the power into the wall or will this fry the pedal? It's happened to me before but the pedal says AC100-240, so maybe the Line 6 is different. however I don't want to take the risk. Thanks, Phil
phil_m
It's a universal switching power supply, so the only difference in the adapters for different regions is the little insert that slides into the adapter. So you shouldn't need a transformer.
cbro76
Yes you can. I'm from Australia and I bought mine from the us and use a $9 universal adapter I got from K-mart. It works fine :)
