Hi,

I have owned my M13 for a month or so now.

Its an awesome piece of gear over all but after

a few weeks of owning it the TAP button doesn't seem to change tempo

and when i hold it in to get to the tuner it doesn't work at all.

Pretty sure the button is defective and dead. Any advice or trouble shooting somebody could

recommend to me. Everything is plugged in the way it should be. It worked at one point.. = (

Thanks,

Alex / Sacredbeast.

If it's new take it back to the retailer and get another. If it is used as mine is I had the same problem. That switch gets used a lot as it is also the tuner access and tap tempo. I opened my unit and replaced the tiny switch under the plunger/footswitch. This is not easy to do and I recommend you have a friend with soldering electronic skills help you or take it to a repair shop. Cleaning it might help and you can squirt a little contact cleaner down into it and gently work it a few times and see if that helps.

Good Luck!

I got to this thread after experiencing same issue, just a couple of weeks in use and just right after having done latest 221 fw update got the problem the switch either doesnt react, gets into tuner mode but pops back to normal mode upon release or taking a very long time before switch is made. I twisted/turned the know around a few rounds and it seemed to be gone. Let's see what's next..

you will need to replace the switch.
