Hockeyplayer
I'm trying to save presets on the unit, when I press the save button nothing happens...or it doesn't show the right screen. In other words, I can't get rid of the asterisk on the display. I'm having tons of issues with this thing. I follow directions but it never works. I love what this thing CAN do I just wish I could get it to do it for me!
duncann
When you press the save button it should bring up the 'save preset' screen, and when you press save again it will save it and the asterisk will be gone. But I wouldn't worry too much about the asterisk. It will appear if you toggle an effect, move the exp pedal, or just about anything. But if you press save and nothing happens, something is wrong. Perhaps it's the button itself? Something caught underneath?
Hockeyplayer
It doesn't go to that screen, it shows the set list screen
duncann
Well that's odd. It shouldn't do that. What happens when you press the knob below the save button? It should go to the setlist screen.
Hockeyplayer
I was actually pushing the knob....I didn't realize where it said save was the actual button....duh! Thanks guys :-)
davidb7170
Easy mistake to make, as up to the HD500, the XTL and X3L procedure was to push in on that rotary knob to save. Now pushing on the knob brings up the Set List menu. They moved the Save function to its own button, and I was glad of it, as the rotary knob was a bit too easy to mistakenly save something you maybe didn't want to... My 2 cents....
