jeanmichelcool
Hi everybody I'm using podfarm 2. Can we have clean sound on each amp model ? or each amp have presests to sound specially ? For example, can I use the Line6 TreadPlate Amp as clean sound ? and how can i do it ? or this Amp will always make an overdrive sound ? Many thanks
fflbrgst
No, you want to use an amp that has a clean sound. the Treadplate amp is anything but clean!
phil_m
The drive knob on the amp models generally controls how clean or dirty it is. I think even with the drive at a minimum, the Treadplate model would not be very clean. When Line 6 creates an amp model, they are only modeling one channel of whatever amp it is. There are a few amps where they model multiple channels, but the Treadplate isn't one of them. They definitely modeled the dirty channel on that amp. If you want a clean tone, you'll want to use an amp model associated with those sorts of tones - the Fenders work well, or there are others with "Clean" in their name.
