Best Answer jak_E_lee , 06 July 2014 - 05:16 AM

with the amp off,try moving all the pots on the amp full left to full right and then turn the amp on.

I had this issue once and that cured it

Don't know why, but my Spider IV 75 keeps showing me EQ settings on my screen and I can't remove it. It's really annoying, because i can't navigate to anything else. Please help

Seems to me theres an issue with one of the eq pots.

Try a master reset on the amp.hope that helps

I'm starting to have the exact same issues today too.  It's never happened before.  I too have the upgraded firmware.  It's a little hotter in my apt today but it would be no different of an environment than if I was at a club with this amp.  I have too many custom tones to want to try a master reset.  Is there some kind of patch fix for this?

Dang Jak.... That did cure it. :D  Thanks for the tip.  I don't play this amp as much as my Spider Valve MkII Boghner,  but I want to start bringing in a smaller set up for some other gigs. Thanks again!!

I think the pots get a little sticky from time to time in turn, that makes the screen freeze up
