astillandsmall
Hello, At this moment, I have my HD Pro patched up to my JCM 800 via the FX Return but I seem to get alot of feedback right after every palm mute or chord sustain. I have my output modes set to power amp stack. I'm using a real decent high output guitar fitted with JB's so it should work. I was wondering it could be the emulated cab in the HD. Also, it sounded real harsh with no cab. Am I missing something here?
joel_brown
Make sure your input setting is Guitar for Input 1 and Variax or Mic for Input 2. Also try different output settings other than Power Amp Stack. All these different settings are just different EQ curves. I use the PODHD into the FX return of a Marshall JCM900 and like Studio Direct the best. But whatever sounds the best for you is all that matters. GlennDeLaune
Are you playing at really loud levels?? or does this happen at low volume?? Is it a high squeal sort of feedback or more of a low hum feedback?
astillandsmall
Hey fellas, thanks for the responses. I will try Studio/Direct mode. I'm using it at band practice levels so it's rather loud. I'm getting the high pitch feedback instead of hums.
joel_brown
Input Setting is the most important. If you have Input 1 and Input 2 set to guitar it will make it squeal. Atleast it did for me.
