Updated firmware doesn't actually update

Having trouble getting my fx100 set up. The device pairs with the fx100 but nothing I do in the app affects the tone in the fx100. It keeps telling me to update the firmware. I have done this and it says successful, but it still continues to say version 1 and that I should update. I have reset the fx100 to factory settings and calibrated the way pedal. Any suggestions before I send it back?

Are the ujpdates taking ~30 to 45 minutes?

 

After updating, please try deleting the AMPLIFi Remote app from your iOS7 device and reinstall.

 

If you are still having issues please submit a support ticket or give Line6 a call.

 

If it is some sort of bug the more info Line6 gathers the quicker they can get to the root cause/solution.

Also try forgetting the BT connection and then re-establish it.

Try doing a reset on your iPad or iPhone ie hold power and home button until white apple logo comes up then delete Bt profile then repair Bt connection
