ScooterDK
Hi, I have a XDV35L V35 wireless system and looking for a compatible headset that is not the Line6 (black) that comes with it. I'm a speaker and looking for a good quality flesh coloured (more discreet) headset. I've heard the countryman are top of the line and looked at an Apex 575 headset for $170. I've noticed in a past forum that the MM-PSM earset microphone is mentioned. The plugin is 1/4" on the transmitter.. any help here is appreciated. sdevino
Check with Countryman or other mic makers. Most have our requirements specs. They can usually make up a termination to suit your needs. You should also know that most 3rd party lavs and some headsets are available unterminated if you are comfortable wiring up the connector yourself. Kit_L
I have an XD-V35 (lav) system and an XD-V55 (light wire-frame headset) system, with the much heavier, two-aerial receiver. I use the XD-V55's headset and transmitter and the XD-V35's receiver (because it is SO much lighter, and I am on the road months at a time). I want to make a suggestion to Line6 that they make this combination available—if you are on the road a lot of the time as I am, you want the lightest most portable system you can find. I have not found the V35 receiver to be a limitation in the venues I work in, and the wire headset is the best I have used. I teach exercise and movement—so need to be able to literally roll around on the floor while presenting, and the XD-V55's headset lets me do that. Can a mod. suggest where I can make this suggestion? And if Line6 ever make a lighter system again, I will be all over it. By this, I mean if the XD-V35's transmitter could take the wire headset, I'd buy another two today, for my staff (the V35's transmitter is lighter too, as it's made from plastic, not metal like the V55).
