riffboy Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 I'm having a weird issue with my HD500 and onboard expression pedal. I set my expression pedal to control the mid parameter on an overdrive within the menu, then exit out. When I go back in I see the expression is now controlling the drive level. Doesn't matter what I do the preset will not save the mid control by the expression pedal. Anyone have any idea what's going on, or experienced anything similar? Thanks. silverhead Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 When you assign the expression pedal you must specify whether you are assigning EXP-1 or EXP-2. The problem isn't that the expression not controlling the parameters, it's just it's controlling the wrong parameter. I set it to control the mid parameter on the overdrive, but when I exit the screen and check it again the parameter to be controlled has changed from mid to drive.
