BigChas52 Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 They are TRS (the plug looks like stereo, but it's not). There is no advantage to using TRS cables though unless the receiving end is also TRS, AND your cable runs are long. You're probably fine with TS (mono) cables. I use standard TS cables with my UX2 with good results. TRS is pretty much the 1/4" equivalent of XLR. It has noise reduction properties, which normally aren't apparent over short runs.
