Has anyone had this issue?

At a gig last week I tried to set the mic gains using the autotrim function. The mixer had trouble detecting what gain to use, setting it to +25 dB and warning that this was really high? I had to turn the unit off and back on again to rectifiy the problem.

Is it just a one-off software glitch, or a sign of something else that might need looking at?

Thanks,

Malc Evans

While I don't believe it's possible at this stage to "rule out" anything in the M20d itself, I think it's more likely to be the latter, Malc...

IMHO, some kind of "upstream" intermittency or "stray signal" may well have "blasted" your M20d's automation into its indecision.

The sad thing about all such intermittent or sporadic artefacts is that they can be the very devil to track down, usually requiring several "swap it and see" recurrences to eventually identify the "culprit".
