Can The M13 Send Midi Program Changes?

Best Answer phil_m , 13 June 2013 - 04:54 AM

So am I correct in thinking, scene 1 will send PC #1 & so forth up to #48?

Mostly correct... It uses PC #0 - 47 for the scenes.

There's a table on page A.2 of the Advanced Guide that says what PC#s are associated with what scenes.

It is unclear, but it looks like the M13 cannot send midi PC commands.  I just wanted to confirm if this is true.

It does send program change messages when you select a scene, but its MIDI map cannot be changed. The PC messages it sends are the ones that are associated with the 48 scenes.
