Triryche
You need to select Line Inputs in POD Farm or the Line6 Audio MIDI control Panel.
rafacharkman
I got here using the line inputs but does not seem to separate the entries in multitrack. I want to make a track for guitar and one for bass but I'm not getting. How can I be doing this?
Triryche
You can not use the Line In with guitar or mic. You can use Line 1, Line 2, or Line 1 and 2. Guitar, Mic, or Guitar and Mic.
rafacharkman
you did not understand me. What do I want to know is for example the TonePort UX1 has 4 inputs, guitar, mic and two extra lines and I wonder how that I separate them in reaper to record audios separately. this is possible in reaper? TheRealZap
he did understand you.... and the answer is you can't.... you can only record up to 2 of the inputs at one time.... which of those 2 would be among the choices he responded with. you did not understand me. TheRealZap
you CAN NOT do this... only 2 inputs will work at one time. and how can I do for example to configure a track with the instrument and mic inputs and another with the other two line inputs in reaper? rafacharkman
Sorry for my ignorance but I understand now. I had understood that I could use a maximum of two lines on each track but it was not. But then, I chose to use the two line inputs on reaper, how do I separate the two each one on one track? Triryche
Also, make a Dual Tone in POD Farm and select Line 1 for Tone A and Line 2 for Tone B. Then in the POD Farm's Mixer determine what gets sent to Reaper. In Reaper make sure you enable the appropriate inputs. There are up to 4 available (2 stereo). rafacharkman
Ahh got it, was not What do I wanted but at least I can now use more than one instrument. Would be nifty if you could use the four inputs of the plate at the same time and separate outputs at Line6 MIDI Audio Devices even be an instrument in each ear. Thanks for everything and for putting up with me, you are well patients
Triryche
No worries. Remember, you can always multi-track, not the same as capturing all at once, but sometimes it gets the job done.
