I have a brand new hd500x. when I plug in usb on my pc (windows 8.1), "Monkey" says my device is not connected. suddenly, impossible to make updates and use "hd500x edit". by cons, my pc recognize my device as a "HD500"!! The person who sold it to me never used (it was an error) .I contacted " Line 6 " for a possible patch , but I have had no response yet .That does not reassure me that story.The curious thing is that the pod works very well with " HD500 edit" , but I do not know if the processor that is called to full power.Anyway, the interfaces are relatively similar.
