umairnadeem
POD Farm starts automatically on start-up, even though the application isn't running, task manager has nothing relating to POD Farm or Line 6 running, the taskbar icon for POD Farm shows that the application is closed- still, when I turn on my computer from a complete shutdown, I plug in my 1/4 inch cable, and POD farm is emulating even though it's not running. I'm on Windows 8.1. This is quite freaky - if the application is running, howcome taskmanager doesn't even show a process? This happens no matter what: even when I shut down pod farm before turning off computer. Does anyone have a fix? Line 6 drivers are starting to seem very sneaky based off of this! thanks
Triryche
The UX is a sound card and will run without PF. But you should be hearing a dry signal, no effects or amp models.
umairnadeem
The UX is a sound card and will run without PF. But you should be hearing a dry signal, no effects or amp models. That's exactly the freaky part: I'm hearing it with all the effects- full distortion. What's more, when I launch POD Farm after restarting my computer, it says my liscence is unauthorized. I check Liscence Manager, and it shows my UX2 itself as an unauthorized device! The fix is to disconnect and reconnect UX2 usb to computer. It gets pretty annoying to do everytime after a reboot though. Im on windows 8.1, anyone experienced this? It worked perfectly fine on Windows 7. Brazzy
I would try uninstalling everything related to line 6 UX2 with line 6 reinstall tool or USBDeview and then reinstall monkey and so forth. restart your computer before plugging the USB in. When you run the USBDeview make sure you run it in administrative mode so that when you make changes such as delete a driver it will "take" after you restart. Also make sure you update your computers drivers if hasn't done it itself. Check Out>>> USB Audio Troubleshooting
