Loud noise
by Noah_Paradise on 2013-03-16 11:56:42

I found out how to record using the digital audio interface built into the POD x3 live, which is good. I'm recording with "Audacity". And when I record a track, it records perfectly okay, no problem. But when I go to record a second track, I get a loud hissing noise. It sounds like what I can only describe as white noise, only with more treble.

Well if all the settings are the same it is probably because Audacity does not support ASIO.

Also make sure you are not "reamping" the first track.

I would get a DAW that supports ASIO, Reaper is free to try and goes for only $60.

Or you can try to compile Audacity with ASIO
