digital I/O replacement
by bluedoor on 2009-09-16 12:46:03

Does anyone know if I can buy a replacement I/O port for my Variax 300. I wrecked the port one night at a gig... I put my jack into it by mistake so I misaligned some of the contacts, the ones that look like thin rows of teeth. Good thing I have also have a 700, but I'd really want to have my 300 fixed asap because its my workhorse. I'm from the Philippines and if I have it fixed at the dealer store its gonna take half a year... =( Was wondering if I could order the part and install it myself. I've actually removed the damaged part so I could inspect it. ... HELP!

i saw a post where someone pulled them back into place  by making  a J hook ouy of a  small piece of  wire.. might be worth a  try.

btw  i also saw a  guy on ebay a while back selling  covers  for that  so this problem dont happen   i bought two .  they work great  but youll have to look around  because  it was  6 months  ago and i dont remember who it was

if you enlarge this  photo youll see the  cover on that jack

If you are looking for a part, you will need to contact an authorized service center to receive that part as we do not sell parts direct. They are only available to authorized service centers at their discretion:
