Gearbox Windows 7
by bfrederick on 2009-11-27 06:04:23

Just purchased a new laptop and Guitarport won't install from the cd. I have windows 7 on laptop. Does gearbox support Windows 7?

if you're using the CD with gearbox on it, then that's your first mistake.  by all means keep it because it's what came with your hardware, but never use it again!

ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS check for updated software, even if you just bought it new: http://line6.com/software/

installthe latest gearbox, it may work with windows 7 as some others have managed to I think, BUT officially line6 doesn't support windows 7 yet.  check this out: http://line6.com/community/groups/windows-7-public-beta-group

Ihope this helped you.  Please remember to award points if it did.

Regards

Rowbi

I confirm gearbox3 work under windows 7... but with a bit graphic bug and save tone...

you can adjust your tone normally...
