Pod 2.0 UK/USA power supply
by yawnbringer on 2010-02-02 10:56:54

Hi there.

I just moved from the UK to the USA, bringing my Pod 2.0 with me. It doesn't work with the type of adaptor that just changes the shape of the plug, so I'm wondering if I could just get a USA power supply? Any idea if that would work? If so, any idea where I might pick one up?

Thanks in advance...

Look for a model PX2. You can even get tham at http://www.amazon.com/Line-6-98-PX2-US/dp/B0002PZEGS

So the unit is exactly the same in both countries, it's just the power supply that's different?

I use both 110v and 220v power supplies with my X3 Live and XT Live and have no problems. You shouldn't either as long as you use the right voltage for the country you're in.....

Yep. Makes it cheaper to manufactur one unit and then just have different wall-warts. Most manufacturers do this.
