Altered tunings with Pitch Glide or Smart Harmony?
on 2010-03-21 04:04:37
I've been exploring the Smart Harmony and Pitch Glide effects in my Spider IV 75.
I was wondering if I could make my guitar sound as if it had been tuned one half step or even two half steps ( in all strings) in order to not have to change my tuning for some songs.
I suppose this might be possible by setting the MIX parameter to 100% but I don't know how I have to adjust the remaining parameters.
Thank you in advance!

Pitch Glide will probably give you the best results for what you're after:
Mix: 100% wet
Interval: -1.0 (1/2 step down) or -2.0 (1 whole step down/two 1/2 steps down)

Wow! exactly what I wanted to know.
I'll be using this feature a lot. Maybe not while playing gigs (it sounds a bit processed) but while practising and rehearsing I'm sure that this will save me all that tedious dropped tunings.
Thank you once again!
