Toneport UX2 without POD Farm running?
by fluff191 on 2010-08-31 19:15:25

If I want to record a direct signal from a mic input (I want to mic my guitar cab with a SM57, straight into the UX2 dry, no effects), POD Farm HAS to be running in order for the UX2 to pass signal. Is this right? Seems all the tutorials of using POD Farm as a plug-in do NOT have POD Farm running in the background (I do) to pass any signal from the guitar to the computer. Please help. Thank you.

You can pass un-processed signal to your computer/DAW without POD Farm.

All you need to do is select the UX2 as your sound device.

I thought I had that all set up but it turns out I did not. Thank you for your reply! Now I have to figure out a way to get rid of the latency.

try adjusting the buffer size form the Line6 device control panel.
