Toneport KB37 faulty, what about model packs ?

My Toneport KB37 went faulty after a powerdown during flash update. Dead!

I bought a new PodStudio UX1 to replace it.

As written in the licence key transfer procedures, i would have to have BOTH DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME WORKING PROPERLY to transfer the licence keys wich now is impossible since one of the devices is faulty with no warranty cover.

How would it be ?

Help!
