JTV-89 Korea - no tremolo?
by pinoguitar on 2011-05-12 02:22:25

Hello,

just got a Korea JTV-89. On the pictures it has a tremolo, but mine don't have one.

Do the korean models not have a tremolo? A rock style guitar without a tremolo?

BW, Pino

as far as I have seen, the only JTV's with a tremolo are the JTV69's (the strat style guitars).  both the JTV59 (Les Paul style) and JTV89 (Shred Style) have fixed bridges.

If you've seen a picture with a trem on an 89, I'd love to see it.  can you please post a link here?

Sorry, on the small pics it looked to me like a trem. I even couldn't imagine this style of guitar without a tremolo.

But I guess many player will miss that, for not to say "they are lost without it".

What a luck I don't play trem.  :-)

And still have my VAX 700 if I would need it.

Ok thank you, Pino

I think it has been hinted that Line 6 may come out with a Tremolo version of the 89, but don't hold me to it.
