Use of the onboard expression pedal as a standard expression pedal
by CommanderEpic on 2011-09-02 13:56:15

Hello,

I know that the 1/4" jack on the floorboard FBV's with expression pedals allow for an external expression to be connected, therefore binding the onboard pedal to use as a wah while the external one is used as a volume pedal.

Is it possible that the 1/4'' jack can be used as an output? For example, if I connected it to a MIDI converter and used the onboard expression pedal to control my DigiTech Whammy?

Thanks,

Phi

I doubt it!  I bet it is just a 0-5 volt (or milliamp range) signal.

100% positive NO.

it's an expression input, and there are no facilities avaible to reverse that to an output...

which is probably not in a midi decipherable state besides as the previous poster stated.
