Using MIDI with Framus Dragon
by socal619guy on 2011-09-18 17:28:52

Hey everyone, anyone....I got a Framus Dragon head and I'm currently using a Floor POD Plus running through the Clean channel of the amp using the outputs of the Floor POD.  What I'm curious to find out, or for someone to at least tell me how to set it up, is using the MIDI function of the Floor POD to control the MIDI on the Framus, and have the actual amp sounds be used instead of the amp models on the Floor POD, but still use the effects (chorus, delay, reverb, etc.) from the Floor POD.  Example would be, by stomping on Pedal A of the Floor POD, would select the "Clean" channel on the Framus, and pulls up possibly the Chorus effect on the Floor Pod.  Stomp on Pedal B, switches to Framus "Lead" channel with the delay effect and drive boost from the FLoor Pod.  IF anyone knows how I can set this up, I really dont understand the whole numbering thing for MIDI, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.

John
