Mac G5 can't install drivers for UX1
on 2011-11-17 18:35:26
Is there absolutely anything I can do to get my UX1 to work on my Mac G5? It's telling me I can't use it until I install the new driver, which it won't let me do because it 'my powerpc isn't compatible'. I've just spent over £100 and I can't even use it. I would appreciate some info on what I can do other than buying a new Mac. And also if there is anyway around installing the drivers and authorizing it some other way. Thanks

The final Power PC USB driver for G5 Mac's would be version 4.7.1 (it's faster to grab it manually... outside of Monkey's operation); here's the download link for your convenience: http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=3248
The information above may not be current, and you should direct questions to the current forum or review the manual.
