PODX3 - how to reproduce that jammin pod2.0 4C setting ?

I have a podX3 live.  My bud has a stock pod 2.0.  We both play Fender VG strats.  I just love the pod2.0 4c tone setting ( Brit Classic).. Is there anyway to load that tone into the X3?  Or.. has someone come up with something close?  We have tried some... but that 4C tone preset on the bridge S pickup just sounds really nice.  I did post in the th forums... got 22 looks. .but no repsonse.   Thanks

I would suggest that you use the Line 6 Edit program to save the tone from the POD 2.0 onto your computer. In order to do so, you will need to use a USB-MIDI interface to connect the POD to the computer. You can then use the GearBox application to open the tone and save it to the POD X3 Live. Keep in mind that the two devices use different amp models, so GearBox will translate the tone the best it can for use with the X3 models. The other option you have is to load the tone into Line 6 Edit, then open GearBox at the same time and manual recreate the tone in gearbox using the settings within Edit as a reference.

All I can suggest is... use your ears. I'm sure you can get 95% close to it.

That's how I actually come up with some of my X3 presets. If I want to sound like the HD series, Iuse my X3 and tweak it to about 95% accuracy, it takes a few minutes though.
