Midi mobilizer and GarageBand
by Iphone1977 on 2011-12-29 20:28:19

I am having an issue making my midi mobilizer work with GarageBand for ipad2. The "in" arrow LED just continues to blink. When I purchased this device the mobilizer 2 was not available. Did I purchase the wrong device?

MIDI Mobilizer works with iPad2. We need you to tell us more about your setup: What device you're connecting to, which cables are connected to the in/out ports on your MIDI device, if you ever got the MIDI Mobilizer to work with any other devices or programs.

I have the midi connectors connected to a Yamaha p-150 keyboard. I also own an emagic mt-4 midi interface that works with my MacBook version of GarageBand connected via USB. the midi mobilizer has never worked since I bought it. The input LED just blinks constantly

Does the MIDI Mobilizer's Input LED blink even when nothing is connected to it?  There are some MIDI devices that would cause that to happen (like my Yamaha EX-7 synth) because they send auto-sensing MIDI data in case the device is unplugged during a performance.

I'll do some further testing here to see if I run into problems.

If the MIDI Mobilizer has not worked since you bought it, you can either exchange with the dealer you purchased it from if you are still within the first 30 days. If you are passed the 30 days, the unit is covered by a 90 day warranty in which the unit can be replaced for you if it is not working.
