Pod Studio UX1 Sound Dropping

Hey, I have an ACER Aspire computer with windows 7 and after only a minuet or so of playing any tone when I first plug in, it will drop the sound. After that, the sound won't stay for more than ten seconds. Is there a way to fix this, I really want to get my money's worth out of my UX1, so please if there is anything that can be done, I would like to know. Thank you.
